FAQ'S
The best time to visit Peru depends on your preferences. The dry season (April to October) is ideal for hiking and outdoor activities, as it offers clear skies and lower chances of rain, especially in the Andes and the Amazon. The wet season (November to March) sees fewer crowds, but some trails, including the Short Inca Trail, may be affected by rain.
Yes, altitude sickness can affect travelers arriving in Cusco (3,400m/11,150ft). To minimize the effects, take it easy on your first day, stay hydrated, avoid heavy meals, and consider drinking coca tea, which is a natural remedy. Your itinerary is designed to gradually acclimate you, with Sacred Valley (lower altitude) before high-altitude hikes.
Yes! The Short Inca Trail requires a government-issued permit, and availability is limited. We recommend booking several months in advance to secure your spot. Our package includes the permit and necessary arrangements for the trek.
