07:30 AM – Pick-Up & Departure from Uyuni
Your adventure begins with a hotel pick-up in Uyuni. The first stop is the Train Cemetery, where rusting locomotives from Bolivia’s railway past create a fascinating, post-apocalyptic landscape.

08:30 AM – Visit to Colchani
Arrive at Colchani, a small village at the edge of the salt flats. Here, you’ll witness traditional salt mining and processing, visit handicraft markets, and see unique salt-made souvenirs.

09:30 AM – Entering the Uyuni Salt Flats
Step into the world’s largest salt desert, covering over 10,000 square kilometers. Drive across the blinding white landscape, taking in the unique hexagonal salt formations.

10:30 AM – Visit to the Eyes of the Salt Flat
Stop at the Ojos del Salar (Eyes of the Salt Flat), bubbling water springs that reveal the hidden underground rivers beneath the salt crust.

11:30 AM – Tunupa Volcano & Pre-Columbian Tombs
Journey towards the stunning Tunupa Volcano, a dormant stratovolcano towering over the salt flats. Upon arrival, visit an ancient pre-Columbian burial site, where well-preserved mummies from an ancient Andean civilization remain inside caves.

After descending from the volcano, return to the salt flats for a fun perspective photo session. Take advantage of the flat, featureless landscape to create optical illusions. During the rainy season (December–April), the salt flats become a perfect natural mirror, reflecting the sky beautifully.

Stop by an iconic Salt Hotel, a one-of-a-kind lodge constructed entirely from salt blocks, where you can learn about its unique architecture.

06:00 PM – Sunset Over the Salt Flats
As the day ends, witness a breathtaking sunset over the endless salt flats. The sky transforms into a canvas of colors, creating an unforgettable moment. Capture the last golden reflections before heading back to Uyuni.

07:30 PM – Return to Uyuni
Arrive back in Uyuni, where your incredible journey concludes with a drop-off at your hotel.
