Next, drive into the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, the world’s largest salt desert. Capture stunning perspective photos and visit the Ojos del Salar, bubbling water springs that emerge from beneath the salt crust.

At Incahuasi Island, an oasis of giant cacti in the middle of the salt flats, enjoy a short hike to a panoramic viewpoint before a scenic lunch on the flats.

As the sun begins to set, head towards the village of San Juan, where you’ll spend the night in a salt lodge, a unique accommodation made entirely of salt bricks.
