Day 1 :

Full Day Waqrapukara

4:00 AM – Pickup from Cusco
Early morning departure from Cusco. You will be picked up from your hotel and head towards the south of the city, traveling through the Andean highlands.

6:30 AM – Breakfast in Cusipata
Arrive at the town of Cusipata, where you will enjoy a hearty breakfast. This stop will prepare you for the exciting day ahead.

7:30 AM – Drive to Santa Lucia Village
After breakfast, continue the journey by car towards Santa Lucia Village, the starting point of the trek. Enjoy the scenic views of the Andes as you approach the trailhead.

8:00 AM – Start of the Trek from Santa Lucia Village
Begin your hike from Santa Lucia Village, following the scenic route toward the Waqrapukara Archaeological Complex. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and the local flora and fauna, including llamas and alpacas.

11:30 AM – Arrival at Waqrapukara
Reach the Waqrapukara ruins, an awe-inspiring Inca fortress perched high on a mountaintop, resembling two horns.
