• Clothing: Lightweight, breathable clothing for warm days, long-sleeve shirts and pants for protection against insects, a rain jacket or poncho, and comfortable hiking shoes.
• Accessories: Sun hat, sunglasses, insect repellent, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, a small backpack for day trips, and a flashlight or headlamp with extra batteries.

Yes, the tour is suitable for children and older adults who are in good physical condition. The activities involve moderate hiking and boat rides, so participants should be comfortable with these activities.

• Birds: Macaws, toucans, and numerous other bird species.
• Mammals: Monkeys, sloths, and possibly capybaras.
• Reptiles and Amphibians: Caimans, turtles, and various lizards.
• Fish: Paiches, among others.
• Dolphins: Pink and grey river dolphins.

Accommodations are in eco-lodges that blend comfort with sustainability. Lodges are equipped with basic amenities including beds, private bathrooms, mosquito nets, and sometimes electricity for a few hours in the evening.

The tour includes boat transfers from Iquitos to Cumaceba Lodge and back. All modes of transport are equipped with necessary safety features.
