The Journey

Day by day

A chronicle of each day — follow the route on the map, uncover the secrets of every destination.

Daily Summary

Day 1

Lima, First Threshold

The flight arrives and Lima reveals itself through coastal mist and filtered light. A private transfer leads to Miraflores: streets of bougainvillea above the cliff, the sea below. The afternoon belongs to unhurried rest, listening to the city before the journey truly begins. The room already faces the Pacific.

Insider Secret

Lima at dusk from the Miraflores cliffs is the arrival ritual no one should skip.

Day 2

Paracas, The Sea as Secret

The desert coast opens onto a bay of still waters and open sky. The boat departs before midday toward the Ballestas Islands: sea lions sleeping on volcanic rock, birds drawing spirals overhead. No other passengers share the crossing. The silence between the waves and the cliffs belongs only to you both.

Insider Secret

We reserve the entire boat. The difference between observing and inhabiting a landscape lies in the absence of strangers.

Day 3

Nazca, Geometry from the Air

The small aircraft rises over the pampa and the lines appear: the hummingbird, the spider, the hand extended across dry earth. From ninety metres, the landscape becomes language. The overflight lasts forty-five minutes. The afternoon dissolves beside the lodge pool: horizontal light, bodies still feeling the vertigo of what they have just witnessed.

Insider Secret

We schedule the flight at first light. Morning sun over the pampa defines every line with surgical precision.

Day 4

Ica, The Table on the Sand

The Huacachina lagoon sits perfectly framed by hundred-metre dunes. At midday, a sandboarding session with a private instructor on the highest slopes. Before nightfall, a table is set on the crest: linen cloth, Peruvian wine, glowing embers. Light withdraws slowly across the desert. There is no need for words.

Insider Secret

Dinner on the dune crest is the most intimate moment of this journey. We arrange it two weeks ahead.

Day 5

Ica, The Valley of the Grape and the Pisco

The historic wineries of Ica hold barrels that have rested for decades. The private tasting begins before noon: four piscos, three malbec varietals, a regional lunch beneath ancient carob trees. A dedicated sommelier traces the precise relationship between the desert landscape and the terroir it produces. No one is in any hurry.

Insider Secret

Not every winery in Ica offers private access. We work only with those still producing artisan copper-still pisco.

Day 6

Lima, The Return to the Sea

The return follows the Pan-American South through dunes and fog meadows. Lima reappears from the clifftop. The afternoon belongs to Barranco: galleries, colonial facades painted in yellow and blue, the Bridge of Sighs. Dinner is at the restaurant reserved on the first day. The city feels earned now.

Insider Secret

Barranco at five in the afternoon, after tourists have left and locals come out to walk, is the right moment.

Day 7

Lima, The Shape of Origin

The final morning belongs to what requires no rush: the Larco Museum before ten, when the galleries stand empty. Mochica ceramics, Nazca gold, Paracas textiles in glass cases. At midday, Miraflores for contemporary jewellery crafted from Andean silver and obsidian. The flight departs at night. There is still time enough.

Insider Secret

The Larco galleries before ten are ours alone. We coordinate this directly with the museum team.
